allyoucanshared.com – Chloë Grace Moretz After A Viral Body-Shaming ‘Family Guy’ Meme He Became A’recluse’. Hello allyou friends, back again with us which of course will present interesting and popular info.
Chloe Grace Moretz is speaking out about the consequences of a viral meme about her body. During a recent interview, the actress discussed how a specific Family Guy meme and social media attention harmed her mental health, saying, “I basically became a recluse.”
Few young actors have been as consistently booked and busy as Chlo Grace Moretz, who has appeared in over 50 films since breaking out with her role in the “Kick Ass” franchise.
Growing up in the spotlight, however, came at a high price for the 25-year-old actress, who revealed that a “horrific” viral meme comparing an edited paparazzi shot to a “Family Guy” character drove her to become a “recluse.”
Moretz explained that a photo of her entering a hotel after picking up a pizza delivery became a viral meme after people compared her body to the Family Guy character “Legs Go All The Way Up Griffin.”
“I’ve never really talked about it, but one meme that really affected me was of me walking into a hotel with a pizza box in my hand,” she told Hunger. “And this photo was manipulated into a Family Guy character with long legs and a short torso, and it became one of the most popular memes at the time.”

Moretz, who has spoken out about being body-shamed throughout her career, claims that when the meme first surfaced, someone told her to “shut the fuck up.”
Despite the fact that the meme’s widespread distribution made her “super self-conscious,” she explained that those around her made light of the situation.
“Everyone was making fun of my body, and when I mentioned it to someone, they were like, ‘Oh, shut the f—k up, it’s funny,'” Moretz explained.
“And I just remember sitting there thinking, my body is being used as a joke, and it’s something I can’t change about myself, and it’s all over Instagram.”
She went on. “To this day, when I see that meme, it’s very difficult for me to overcome.”
She felt “super self-conscious” and “kind of sad” after the experience, especially when it came to public appearances and red carpets.
While Moretz has appeared in a few projects in recent years, including “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” the 2018 “Suspiria” remake, and the LGBTQ drama “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” she has “basically become a recluse” in her personal life.

“It was great because I was able to be myself and have so many experiences that people didn’t photograph, but it also made me severely anxious when I was photographed,” she told the outlet. “My heart rate would accelerate and I’d hyperventilate.”
Moretz has begun to process her “self-loathing” and the “jarring shift in my consciousness” about the attention her body has received through therapy and a much-needed career break.
Moretz stepped down from all future film roles, including a live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid,” in 2016 to “reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again,” she said at the time.
But she’s making a big comeback in Amazon’s upcoming sci-fi series “The Peripheral,” created by “Westworld” creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
“To say these last two years have been transformative is an understatement,” Moretz said of her new perspective. “I’m not the same girl I used to be.” “I finally feel like a woman.”
